The 1-G070A-2 Torque/RPM Adapter is a specialized interface module designed to bridge torque and speed transducers

—especially HBM’s T12 or T40 series sensors—with Genesis HighSpeed (GEN DAQ) mainframes.

Dual‑Sensor Support: Connects up to two torque sensors and two speed (RPM) inputs, allowing simultaneous monitoring of two shafts or torque/speed channels.
Differential RS‑422 Signaling: Outputs torque and speed signals in differential RS‑422 format, improving noise immunity—especially useful in electrically noisy environments or when using long cable runs.
Built‑in Power Supply: Optionally supplies power to connected torque transducers (e.g. T12/T40) through the same cable, eliminating the need for separate power wiring.
Timer/Counter Integration: Each speed and torque input connects directly to the GEN DAQ high‑resolution timer/counter channels. Speed inputs support direction and reference‑pulse signals (for angle tracking), while torque inputs support shunt‑calibration for optimized accuracy.
